Country Fun

This past week we got to spend several days in KC with the Magers'. It was a wonderful time to get to reconnect, especially since Nate (Jason's brother) was off for most of the days. The boys did some work for Pat and the girls got some shopping in with Claudia. On Friday we visited the KC Zoo and then on Saturday night we had a combined birthday party for everyone in the family who had summer birthdays. We made tons of food and finished it off with homemade ice cream and individual car and train cakes. We had a great time and all of us were sad when we had to head back to the city after our wonderful time out in the country!
