Miss Kadyn

Miss Kadyn is developing quite a personality. She refuses to eat anything that does not look exactly like what we are eating. We fought this for a while just on the simple principle of safety, but now we gave up on protecting her from choking and give her almost everything whole! As you can see from the picture she can devour a piece of pizza with no problem! This week we have started learning the word "more" and have actually cut back on most of the screaming! She has a huge appetite, Jason insists that she eats more than Isaac does and it's quite possible! She has started shaking her head "yes" or "no" for pretty much everything she wants or doesn't want. At first we just thought she was being silly, but she is pretty adamant about both responses, so we usually listen to her! The one thing that ALWAYS gets a "no" response is taking a nap. This girl does not want to sleep! As you can see in the next picture she will go until she can no longer stay awake! I do not understand how she needs less sleep than Isaac does, but it's working right now so we'll see. This day she hadn't taken a nap at all and fell asleep while we were cleaning up from dinner! We are enjoying see her develop and start to talk. I'm pretty sure her favorite thing to say is "no" and when she does it she slaps her hand on her leg, just like she has seen her brother do sooo many times!
