Poop

When Jason and I look back 5 years ago...we never knew we would be excited about poop in a toilet...but my friends, we are sooo excited! Isaac has been pretty much potty trained for a couple of months, when talking about pee..but the pooping has been a problem (which I hear is common, but non-the-less disgusting to clean up out of underwear!). So on Saturday night while in the bathroom he told Mimi that he needed to go poop, so we scooped him out and sat him on the toilet and sure enough...there was poop!!! He got the sacred tool set that he had been praying for and we were ecstatic! Then it didn't happen again. He returned to pooping in his underwear. I had a theory that he might not go if he didn't have any underwear on but hadn't really had the time to try it out until he asked to put just pants on today instead of underwear and pants....so when I saw Jason and Isaac running down the hall I figured my theory had worked. Sure enough Isaac had asked to have a diaper on so he wouldn't poop in his pants and instead he sat on the potty and pooped for a second time. This time it wasn't as exciting, but he did get a new matchbox truck to play with!
